Site #16534 — working through the quiet hours

A Gold Coast site near Seaworld Resort had strict limits on when its generator could run. Here is what changed when a Mobile Power Trailer went in.

The problem

  • Generator bound by ‘quiet hours’ — no running before 6am or after 6pm, and not at all on weekends
  • Outside those hours computers, refrigerators and usable water were offline
  • Staff had to empty refrigerators daily and before every weekend
  • Limited operating hours caused quantifiable lost productivity
  • Generator noise posed a risk to the public, resort guests and site workers
  • A separate backup source was needed for security and internet
